Refund policy
At ABC Dentalworks, we take pride in providing quality pre-owned, refurbished, and replacement dental equipment components. Every item is inspected, tested when applicable, cleaned, and verified prior to shipment to help ensure proper operation and condition.
By purchasing from ABC Dentalworks, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the terms, conditions, limitations, and requirements outlined in this Return, Refund & Warranty Policy.
Please review the following policy carefully before making your purchase.
Return Eligibility
Return Request Timeframe
Customers must notify ABC Dentalworks within five (5) business days of delivery to request a Return Authorization (RA).
Requests submitted after five (5) business days from the confirmed delivery date will not be considered for return, refund, or exchange.
No item may be returned without prior authorization from ABC Dentalworks.
Equipment Return Requirements
To qualify for return consideration, all of the following conditions must be met:
- The equipment must be returned in the same condition as originally shipped.
- The equipment must not have been modified, altered, abused, neglected, or damaged after delivery.
- The customer must provide proof of installation and inspection by a Certified Dental Equipment Technician.
- The customer must provide written documentation describing the issue.
- The customer must provide copies of technician invoices, inspection reports, and supporting documentation.
- ABC Dentalworks must be given the opportunity to review and verify the claim before authorizing a return, replacement, reimbursement, or refund.
Failure to provide supporting documentation may result in denial of the return request.
Equipment Warranty Coverage
Unless otherwise stated in writing, qualifying refurbished equipment sold by ABC Dentalworks includes:
- 90-Day Limited Labor Warranty
- 1-Year Limited Parts Warranty
Warranty coverage applies only to defects in workmanship or covered component failures occurring during normal operating conditions during the warranty period.
Warranty Claim Requirements
To be considered for warranty coverage, customers must provide:
- Original invoice or proof of purchase.
- Equipment serial number.
- Documentation from a Certified Dental Equipment Technician.
- Detailed written inspection findings.
- Service invoices showing diagnosis and corrective actions performed.
- Photos, videos, or supporting evidence when requested.
No labor reimbursement, replacement parts, travel expenses, service charges, or warranty-related costs will be approved without prior authorization from ABC Dentalworks.
Equipment Warranty Exclusions
- Improper installation.
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications.
- Misuse, abuse, or neglect.
- Shipping damage.
- Improper maintenance.
- Electrical supply issues or power surges.
- Operator error.
- Cosmetic wear.
- Routine maintenance items.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Failures caused by environmental conditions.
- Failures unrelated to the original covered component.
ABC Dentalworks reserves the right to deny warranty claims that are not supported by sufficient documentation from a Certified Dental Equipment Technician.
Parts Testing, Inspection & Final Sale Policy
ABC Dentalworks specializes in replacement parts, assemblies, transformers, control boards, electronic components, and technical dental equipment parts.
All parts are inspected, tested when applicable, and verified to be operating within specification prior to shipment.
Because many parts are electronic, installation-sensitive, and cannot be verified once installed, all parts sales are considered final.
Parts Policy
- All parts are sold as tested and working to specification at the time of shipment.
- Customers are responsible for verifying compatibility before purchase.
- Customers are responsible for proper installation and setup.
- Installation should be performed by qualified personnel whenever applicable.
Final Sale Policy
- All parts sales are final.
- No returns are accepted once a package has been opened.
- No returns are accepted once a part has been installed, connected, mounted, programmed, or placed into service.
- No returns are accepted for compatibility issues, ordering mistakes, misdiagnosis, or installation-related issues.
- No returns are accepted on electronic boards, circuit boards, control modules, transformers, timers, sensors, switches, or electrical components once opened or installed.
- Parts that have been modified, altered, damaged, or improperly installed are not eligible for return, refund, exchange, or warranty consideration.
Damaged Shipments
Customers must inspect all shipments immediately upon delivery.
If equipment or parts arrive damaged during shipping:
- ABC Dentalworks must be notified within five (5) business days of delivery.
- Customers must retain all packaging materials.
- Detailed photos of the packaging and damaged item must be provided.
- ABC Dentalworks reserves the right to coordinate inspection with the carrier before approving any claim.
Failure to report shipping damage within the required timeframe may void eligibility for reimbursement or replacement.
Return Authorization Process
- Contact ABC Dentalworks to obtain a Return Authorization (RA) Number.
- Securely package the equipment using the original packaging or equivalent protective materials.
- Clearly mark the RA Number on all return documentation.
- Ship the item according to the instructions provided by ABC Dentalworks.
Returns received without authorization may be refused.
Restocking Fees
Approved returns are subject to inspection upon receipt.
Equipment approved for return may be subject to a minimum twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee.
Additional deductions may apply if:
- Equipment requires cleaning or reconditioning.
- Components are missing.
- Packaging is damaged or incomplete.
- Additional labor is required to restore the item to resale condition.
Refund Processing
Refunds will only be issued after:
- The item has been received.
- The equipment has been inspected.
- The return has been approved by ABC Dentalworks.
Approved refunds will be issued minus applicable restocking fees, shipping charges, handling costs, and any repair or reconditioning expenses incurred due to the condition of the returned item.
Non-Returnable Items
- All replacement parts and electronic components once opened or installed.
- Items sold as-is.
- Final sale items.
- Special order items.
- Custom-configured equipment.
- Consumables and maintenance items.
- Hoses, bulbs, filters, seals, gaskets, tubing, and similar accessories.
- Items altered, modified, repaired, or serviced by unauthorized personnel.
- Equipment damaged due to improper installation, misuse, neglect, or environmental conditions.
ABC Dentalworks Right of Inspection
ABC Dentalworks reserves the right to inspect, test, and verify all claims prior to approving any return, refund, replacement, reimbursement, or warranty request.
Submission of a claim does not constitute approval of that claim.
