Refurbished Matrx MDM Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen Sedation Flowmeter with Mobile Stand + Rubber Goods
The Matrx MDM is the analog dial-mixer flowmeter that set the standard for nitrous oxide/oxygen conscious sedation in dental operatories. Twin glass flow tubes give a large, immediately readable display of oxygen and nitrous oxide delivery, while a single flow knob and mixture dial let the operator adjust percentage and total flow without losing the setting on the other. An oxygen flush bar delivers up to 90 L/min on demand, and the O₂-piloted fail-safe stops nitrous oxide delivery the moment oxygen pressure is lost. This unit is supplied on a rolling five-caster mobile stand with a scavenger interface block and vacuum gauge, so it can be moved between operatories rather than committed to a single wall mount. The rubber goods are included — nasal hood, breathing bag and corrugated breathing/scavenger circuit tubing ship with the unit, along with the nitrous oxide and oxygen DISS supply hoses, all shown in the listing photographs. Not Included
Nitrous oxide and oxygen cylinders, tank yoke block, and cylinder regulators are not supplied with this unit. This configuration is intended for connection to a central gas supply or to a separately purchased yoke block. Condition
Every refurbished sedation flowmeter offered by ABC Dentalworks undergoes a comprehensive inspection before shipment, including flow tube and float inspection, mixture and flow control function, oxygen flush operation, fail-safe verification, leak and fitting inspection, cleaning, replacement of worn components where necessary, and final function verification. Cosmetic wear consistent with a used clinical unit is normal. Please review all product photographs carefully to confirm the exact configuration and accessories supplied.
Prescription Device & Calibration
Federal law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a dentist or licensed practitioner, as stated on the unit's data plate. The manufacturer specifies that the MDM and its accessories be adjusted and calibrated following installation; ABC Dentalworks recommends professional installation with verification of gas supply pressures, fail-safe operation, minimum oxygen percentage, and scavenger vacuum before clinical use. Nitrous oxide sedation equipment is also subject to state and local requirements — please confirm the rules that apply in your jurisdiction.
Warranty & Support
