The Tuttnauer 3870EAP is the largest tabletop steam sterilizer Tuttnauer builds, with a 15" diameter x 30" deep electropolished 316L stainless steel chamber holding roughly 85 liters (22 gallons) — enough for up to 15 full-size IMS cassettes in a single load. It runs three fully automatic pre-set sterilization programs plus a separate dry cycle, fills the chamber by water pump, dries with a closed-door active drying system fed through a 0.2 micron HEPA filter, and documents every cycle on the built-in printer that gives the EAP model its name. This is the machine practices buy when an M11 or a 2540 has stopped keeping up with turnover.

90-Day Parts and Labor Warranty

This refurbished Tuttnauer 3870EAP is covered by a 90-day parts and labor warranty from ABC Dentalworks. For 90 days from the date of delivery, any component that fails under normal clinical use is repaired or replaced, and the labor to do so is covered. Replaced parts may be new, OEM, or professionally reconditioned equivalents at our discretion. The warranty does not cover consumables (door gaskets, filters, printer paper), damage from improper installation, use of non-distilled water, scale build-up, power surges, unauthorized repair, or shipping damage reported outside the carrier claim window. This sterilizer is professionally refurbished. ABC Dentalworks' refurbishment process may include professional inspection, functional testing, chamber inspection, heating system evaluation, pressure and safety system testing, electronic diagnostics, printer verification, cleaning and cosmetic preparation, replacement of worn components when necessary, and final quality inspection before shipment. Refurbished equipment may show minor cosmetic signs of previous clinical use; please review all photographs carefully.

Who This Sterilizer Is For

The 3870EAP suits multi-operatory dental practices, oral surgery and periodontal offices, veterinary clinics, tattoo and body-art studios, podiatry and dermatology practices, and laboratories that need a large-chamber autoclave with printed cycle documentation but do not have the space or budget for a floor-standing sterilizer. Practices upgrading from a Tuttnauer 2540, Midmark M9 or M11, or SciCan Statim typically move to a 3870 when instrument turnover starts forcing back-to-back cycles.
